Sessions

Members and associates of Winnington Park Bowmen can shoot at any and all sessions. Field captains and usual start times are listed below. Most of our field captains have pictures on our contact page of the website. If you arrive at a session and don't know who is in charge, simply ask any archer and introduce yourself. 

 

Monday evening – Ian Garton/Michelle Oakes – 5pm

Tuesday evening – coaching – Colin Mann/Alex Sayers  – 6pm

Wednesday evening – Leigh Hadfield/Michelle Oakes – 4.30pm

Thursday noon – Peter Sayers – 12pm

Thursday evening – Pip and Andy Cooper/ Victoria and James Worthington – 6pm

Friday evening – John Wesley – 5.30pm

Sunday morning – Peter Sayers - 9am

 

All morning and noon sessions are outdoors all year round, weather permitting at the field captain’s discretion.

All evening sessions are usually indoors from October to March and outdoors from April to September, again weather permitting. Each field captain will decide what weather they will run the session in, and each field captain will decide precisely when they begin to run their evening sessions outdoors in spring and move back indoors in autumn. Early spring sessions outdoors often move to an earlier start time until light allows us to shoot later.

Look out for emails and WhatsApp messages from field captains regarding any changes to time or location.
